ACTIVITIES

Wow!  So much to do on or by Moose Lake, so little time!  Being at Louie’s means you have plenty of options of things to do!

  • ATV/UTV RIDING – Louie’s is located on Trail 5 and 21, so when you are out riding, make sure you add us on your “stop” list for cold drinks and hot eats.   Our lakefront patio has outdoor seating, music playing, outdoor firepit, bag toss and a large lawn to run around if you have kids.

  • BEACH – at Louie’s, if you get hot, there is a beach right by the bar to hop in and cool off, then of course grab another drink!

  • BOAT LANDING – Louie’s has a landing right on site with plenty of parking and we have Premium Gas should you need to fill up!

  • FISHING – Moose Lake is home to several fish (musky, pan fish, crappie, etc)

  • SNOWMOBILING – located on Trail 5 and 21, we offer premium gas, drinks and eats, make sure you swing in and say hi to the Louie’s gang!

  • HAYWARD ATTRACTIONS – visit the Hayward Chamber of Commerce to see a listing of events around the area.

  • HUNTING – with an abundance of wide open land, avid hunters love this area for all kinds of hunting.

  • HIKING – there are many great trails near/close to Hayward and Louie’s, for a list of trails, click here.

  • WATER SKIING – Moose Lake is a water skiing friendly lake, bring your boat, skis and hit the water for a great time, make sure you swing in to say hi!

  • WATER SPORTS – Moose Lake is a great lake to canoe, Stand Up Paddle (SUP), kayak, fish, pontoon, water ski, just about anything you want to do on the water can be done on Moose Lake.  Louie’s is your place if you are looking to rent a canoe, kayak, pontoon.

Rentals

Louie’s offers several things to buy or rent.  On site, we have our Merch Store that has a lot of Louie’s merchandise and fun things such as water balloons, towels, key chains, dog collars etc.  Or you can visit our online store for even more items that we don’t stock in the bar!

Also, on site, we have a Retail Store in case you need something to complete your experience.  Get a flat, we have flat tire repair kits, need oil for your Side by Side, we have it, got a flat tire and need it filled up, we have an air compressor, we have premium gas for your recreational needs and we even have a small bait shop featuring exclusive musky baits by local fishing guide Daryl…..

  • PONTOON RENTAL – we have a pontoon available to rent for a day, a few days or a week.  Click here for pictures and pricing.

  • STANDUP PADDLE (SUP) – Louie’s has SUPs to rent.

  • KAYAKS – Louie’s has kayaks for rent.

  • CABIN RENTALS – located across the street from Louie’s is Louie’s Landing Resort.
